Let me make a clear statement.  THE PERSON THAT CAN HELP YOU MOST IS YOU YOURSELF.  You must have the willpower and confidence in your own abilities to accomplish anything in this life.

While I was recovering from my accident, my pastor, Reverend H.B. Alexander, constantly reminded me that GOD had a purpose for me, and that one day I would  understand why my life had been spared.

The purpose became very clear to me a few months ago, when I began experiencing some strange headaches.  I visited a neurologist who was unfamiliar with my case.  After examining my x-rays, Dr. J Saad became a little emotional and said, "I can not believe the same person on these x-rays is sitting in that chair, and that my recovery was truly a miracle.  She used the x-rays to define and explain the extent of my injuries, helping me to understand how lucky I am to be able to function  in a normal manner.  As a result of this understanding, I believe that  I know what GOD wants me to do, and that is to help you,  help yourself.

Each person must find the depths of his own determination to overcome  disabilities.  My source of strength was inspired by a wheelchair!!!  It was delivered by my pastor, who wanted so much to help me.  IT SURE DID HELP ME!!!  It sent a fear of defiance searing through my body, and I knew from that moment that'' I WOULD GET WELL" and NOT spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair, dependent on others to take care of me.  I sincerely believe that my struggles can be an inspiration to others that have a strong desire to win and a strong belief in themselves.  Just remember WHAT you must have before you can ever hope to be better is "DETERMINATION "
